St Michael's Day Celebration

Divine Liturgy honoring our Patron Saint , St. Michael the Archangel, was celebrated on Tuesday November 8, 2005, at St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox Church, Redford, MI.

 
    Assisting V. Rev Archpriest Timothy M. Barna, Rector of St. Michael's parish were:
Rt. Rev Fr. Panayot Pamukov, St. Clement Macedono-Orthodox Church, Dearborn, MI,  Rev. Fr. Michael Arbanas, Rector of St. Clement Macedono-Bulgarian Orthodox Church, Dearborn, MI;  V. Rev. Archpriest Roman Star, assistant Dean of the Central states deanery and Rector of St. Innocent Orthodox Church, Redford, MI; 
V. Rev. Archpriest Fr. Lawrence Basic, Rector of St. Elias Orthodox Church, Battle Creek, MI.; Rev. Fr. Christopher Rozdilsky, Rector of St. Andrew's Orthodox Church, Lansing, MI.; and reader Mark Sudia, from St. Thomas Albanian Orthodox Church, Farmington Hills, MI.   Rt. Rev. Mitered Archpriest Michael E. Barna, Dean Emeritus was also there to pray on his name day.
    After Divine Liturgy,  "Many Years!"   was sung for Rt. Rev. Mitered Archpriest Michael Barna, and Rev. Fr. Michael Arbanas for their name day and health for the parishoners of St. Michael's parish as well as all named Michael of the parish.
    "Memory Eternal!" was also sung for the departed parishoners of St. Michael's and all named Michael of the parish.
    A light lunch was served following the Divine Liturgy and everyone present enjoyed the fellowship:    
    "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity."
